The Italian Grand Prix is one of the classic races of the Formula 1 World Championship. It is held on a Sunday in September in Italy. In 2020 the Grand Prix will be in its 91st edition, 85 of which were held at the national circuit of Monza. It is the fifth oldest national Grand Prix after those of France, the United States, Spain and Russia and, from 2013, also the one that has been held several times. Only on 5 occasions has the Grand Prix been held in other cities: Montichiari (1921), Livorno (1937), Milan (1947), Turin (1948) and Imola (1980).
